Return and Refund Policy

At Velvet Scents, customer satisfaction is important to us. However, due to the nature of fragrance products, hygiene standards, and product authenticity requirements, our return and refund policy is strictly applied.
1. Returns on Opened or Used Products
We do not accept returns for any product that has been opened, used, sprayed, tested, damaged after delivery, or is no longer in its original sealed condition.
Any product that is returned opened, used, missing packaging, missing seals, or not in resalable condition will not be eligible for a refund.
2. Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind, personal preference, dislike of scent, accidental orders, or buyer’s remorse.
Once an order is placed, customers are responsible for reviewing the product name, size, quantity, shipping address, and order details before checkout.
3. Damaged Items
If a product arrives damaged, the customer must contact us as soon as possible with clear photos/videos of:
- The damaged product
- The packaging/box
- The shipping label
- Any leakage, breakage, or visible defect
If the damage is confirmed after review, we will provide a replacement only. We do not issue refunds for damaged items.
4. Refund Eligibility
A refund may only be considered if the product is:
- Unopened
- Unused
- In original sealed packaging
- Returned to our address first
- Received and inspected by our team
Refunds will not be processed until the returned product is physically received at our return address.
Once we receive the returned product, our team will inspect it. If the product meets our return conditions, we will proceed with the refund. If the product is opened, used, damaged, missing packaging, missing seals, or not in original condition, the refund may be refused.
5. Order Cancellation After Purchase
If a customer places an order and then requests cancellation or refund, we will first check the order status.
If the order has not shipped yet, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.
If the order has already shipped, the customer must first receive the package and then return it back to us in unopened and unused condition. In this case, a $20 cancellation/restocking/handling fee will apply because shipping, labor, processing, and handling costs have already been incurred.
Refunds for shipped orders will only be processed after the product is returned to us and successfully inspected.
